🎨 The five colors

🤍 White — order, teamwork, small armies, life gain. 💙 Blue — knowledge, card draw, counterspells, flying. 🖤 Black — power at a price: destroy, discard, graveyard tricks. ❤️ Red — speed and fire: direct damage, haste, chaos. 💚 Green — growth: extra mana, giant creatures, trample. Most decks run two colors: one you love, one that covers its weaknesses.

📚 Glossary (plain words)

Mana value = total cost. Tap = turn sideways to show 'used'. Priority = your chance to act. Resolve = a spell finally happens. Graveyard = discard pile (things can come BACK from it — that's Black's whole deal). Exile = removed from the game entirely. Token = a stand-in permanent. Commander = the 100-card singleton format with a legendary leader.

Simplified duel rules (labeled): mana gems grow by 1 each turn and refill; creatures can't attack the turn they land; flying can only be blocked by flying; first strike and deathtouch work like the real game.
